Weekly update #3

There is more progress in the project, but there is still much work to be done.

Over the past week we have made the first version of the storyboard. After some feedback from 4th year animation it appears that some things could be improved. We should try to create a connection between the present and the flashforewords. Also, try different angles in some shots.

last Monday, we have agreed to make everyday a paint (except Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Style and how it gets worked out is completely open. In total we have 13 paints. In these paints, we will try to evoke an emotion and we analyzes how other artists bring  mood and evoke a emotion in their art.

Jolanda has also started reading the book Film Art and Understanding Animation. To understand how image evokes an emotion. in Understanding Animation for example there is a chapter: 25 ways to start laughing. something that we could use in our story.
 

Next week we hope to have more visuals of environments and characters, 4 paints, some observations of illustrations of artist, and Reviewing version of the storyboard. and hopefully a moving storyboard.
