Weekly update #4

The past week we finished the moving storyboard. It’s now up to Jelle to design some music and sounds. We didn’t make the deadline ‘a paint a day’. This because the moving storyboard had priority first. One paint is finished and one character design. We hope to make up for it next week.

Jolanda has started writing her supportive narrative, she aims to finish the first chapter (Introduction) next week and collects more resources for writing the paper.

Next week we aim to create more paints and character designs, and hopefully Jelle will be finished with the first version of the moving storyboard.

15 second zombie

Zombies, perhaps one of the most used and cliché monster that exists in fiction. Everyone knows them as the walking dead who return to feed on a fresh piece of living human flesh and brains for dessert. But what if a zombie was able to experience empathy for another person and can still recall his or her memories that he /she had from when they were still alive?

We would like to give this classic a fun twist, we want to give the viewer a world where there is an exceptional zombie who does not comply with this. But still able to feel compassion and recall his/her memories. This story is set in an apocalyptic Rio de Janeiro at a ruined carnival festival.

Where going to create a new world with a story and design a trailer, where we want to surprise the viewer, let them disgusted, feel happiness and intense grief.
